Corporate Learning Opportunities
The Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust provides an interesting menu
of options for corporations and businesses wishing to provide their
employees with unique opportunities for learning, team-building, creativity,
and strategic planning. Slide presentations, tours, and hands-on workshops
can inspire fresh thinking and planning for many business applications.
Workshops and Events
The rich variety of cultural opportunities in the Chicago area makes
it possible for the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust to sponsor
hands-on activities and thematic events for adults and families.
These events range from workshops in architectural photography to
the celebration of Japanese culture. Events change yearly.
Architecture Fantasy Camp
Camp participants live out their dreams working in the drafting room
of Wright's Oak Park studio. Under the guidance of architects, architecture
enthusiasts in this four-evening workshop learn basic drafting techniques
and execute frameable floor plans of their creations. For non-architects
only. The camp takes place in March, June, August, and then once again later in the Fall (usually in September).
Fee is $650 for Preservation Trust members and $700 for
non-members. Space is limited.
